Gevaudan Wolf Park

A unique immersion into the heart of the packs and the legend

In the heart of the Aubrac pine forests, the Gévaudan Wolf Park invites you to an unforgettable experience. Explore its nature trails, observe the majestic packs, and enjoy guided tours and friendly activities to discover these mythical animals in a preserved and wild setting.

40 years of passion and history

Born in 1985 from the passion of Gérard Ménatory, the park is now unique in Europe and entirely dedicated to the wolf. Located in the heart of the Lozère region, the birthplace of the legend of the Beast of Gévaudan, it is home to more than 100 wolves from around the world.

From its modest beginnings to its expansion in 2020, the park has become an educational, scientific, and spectacular destination. In 2025, the wildlife park will celebrate its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of conservation and awareness-raising.

This approach allows visitors to experience the park on multiple levels, according to their interests and curiosity.

The trails are designed for all audiences, with themed guided tours, interactive exhibits, investigative trails following the wolf’s tracks, and tours adapted for children.
