PHOT’Aubrac

The photography festival in Aubrac

PHOT’Aubrac is one of the largest photography festivals in France. Every year, it showcases nature, wildlife, and human photography, while also fostering discussion on environmental issues: biodiversity, climate change, the sixth mass extinction, landscapes, sustainable development, and more.

The festival offers more than 50 free exhibitions, installed in authentic locations, some of which are closed to the public the rest of the year. A true immersion in the heart of the Aubrac region, where each space becomes a showcase for the works of the invited photographers.

PHOT’Aubrac is also a highlight of the festival: screenings, conferences, discussions, meals, and opportunities for exchange between photographers, visitors, and locals (some activities require a ticket). This festival, deeply rooted in its region, is driven by the commitment of local residents, farmers, and photography enthusiasts, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Each edition welcomes nearly 25,000 visitors over four days, making the festival an unmissable event for enthusiasts of images, nature and wide open spaces.
