Laguiole Whisky

Discover authentic whisky from the Presbytère des Anges in Laguiole.

Since 2014, the Twelve distillery has been crafting artisanal whisky in the heart of the Aubrac region. Twelve passionate friends joined forces to create a unique product, shaped by the area’s altitude, climate, and wild landscape. At the Presbytère des Anges in Laguiole, tradition and expertise combine to produce an exceptional whisky.

A whisky, a story

It all began on December 31, 2013, during a hike across the Aubrac plateau. Inspired by the landscape, two friends conceived the idea of creating their own artisanal whisky. Soon, twelve enthusiasts joined forces to found the Twelve distillery, located at an altitude of 1,000 meters in Laguiole. The *Presbytère des Anges*—formerly the village convent—houses the brewery, the traditional still, and the aging cellar, where the whisky develops its full depth. The name “Twelve” pays tribute to the twelve founders and the Aveyron department’s administrative number.
