The Aubrac Trail Area offers a unique playground for trail running enthusiasts. Behind its seemingly gentle landscape, the Lozère plateau reveals a subtle topography, ridgelines, valleys, and breathtaking panoramas. It’s the perfect setting for tackling a variety of courses, from sweeping vistas to technical trails.
The routes are spread across three sectors of the Lozère Aubrac region: Peyre en Aubrac, Fournels, and Nasbinals. Each course is color-coded according to its level of difficulty, offering something for every trail runner. For the more experienced, two long and technical courses offer a true challenge.
Competitive runners will also find plenty to enjoy: the Trail en Aubrac, held in June starting in Nasbinals, is a major event in the sport. In the spring, the Daffodil Race in Fournels attracts many runners in a friendly atmosphere.
Discover the entire Aubrac Trail Area and enjoy an exceptional natural territory, designed for the practice of trail running in complete freedom.
